A few years ago, I lost my 25-year-old son. The last truly joyful memory I have with him is the two of us blowing up balloons together for a church gathering — laughing, side by side, doing something simple and beautiful.
I started Balloons by Rachel in his honor. Every garland I build now holds a quiet piece of him. And every event I get to design feels like a small chance to help another family create the kind of joy he and I shared that day.
